Cancellation Policy

At Kindred Union, every ceremony is thoughtfully prepared and personally crafted. The following policies help create a smooth, respectful, and well-organized experience for everyone involved. 📅 Securing Your Date Your date is confirmed once a signed agreement and non-refundable retainer are received. Until then, dates remain open. 💳 Payment Terms • A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date • The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your ceremony • For bookings made within 14 days of the ceremony, full payment is required at booking Payments not received by the due date may result in cancellation of services. 🔄 Rescheduling Policy One reschedule is allowed based on availability if requested at least 14 days in advance. New dates must be within 90 days. Additional changes may require a new booking. ❌ Cancellation Policy All retainers are non-refundable. Cancellations within 14 days of the ceremony are non-refundable in full. ⏱ Ceremony Timing & Delays • The officiant will arrive as agreed and remain onsite for the scheduled ceremony window • Delays beyond 30 minutes may result in a shortened ceremony or additional fees Clear communication helps ensure your ceremony begins smoothly and on time. 🚗 Travel & Location • Travel within the Atlanta metro area is included unless otherwise stated • Extended travel or special venue access requirements may incur additional fees Details will always be discussed and confirmed in advance. 🎤 Rehearsals (If Included or Added) • Rehearsals must be scheduled in advance • Timing and location must be confirmed at least 7 days prior • Additional fees may apply for rehearsals not included in your selected service ✍🏾 Ceremony Preparation & Collaboration Couples will receive guidance for personalization. Final details must be confirmed at least 7 days before the ceremony. 📜 Marriage License Responsibility Couples are responsible for obtaining and bringing their license and confirming local requirements. The officiant will complete and return it as required. 🤝 Respect & Inclusivity Kindred Union is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive experience for all couples and guests. Any behavior that is discriminatory, unsafe, or disrespectful may result in termination of services without refund.
